I wasn't sure this session was going to happen.  The skies darkened a few minutes before we were to leave and my biggest concern was lightning.  As with any girls senior portrait session, so much time is spent getting outfits ready, as well as hair and make-up.  Knowing our crazy Colorado weather with storms moving through most afternoons during the Summer months, they can pass quickly and the sun can be right back out again in no time. We headed to our destination in the pouring rain and sure enough, it stopped once we were ready to shoot. Three outfit changes and beautiful images were the result of this senior session and we got it done before the next storm arrived.  

I must say, I love taking senior portraits.  It is such an important and very special time in a senior's life and it is pretty great to be a small part of capturing them at this stage in life.  

Since this shoot took place, Tori was nominated Homecoming Queen at her High School.  You are a beautiful girl, Tori, both inside and out. Best of luck for a very successful and bright future.
