HELLO and welcome to Kimberly Swanson Photography!  

I am located in beautiful Golden, Colorado, just West of Denver.  Living in such an amazing place, the locations for your shoot are endless.  My sessions take place in an outdoor setting at a location of your choice.  Being in business for 15 years, I have a number of locations I can suggest for you if you don't already have a place in mind.  I will take the time to get to know you prior to your session to better prepare me for the kind of images you are looking for.  I enjoy hearing what is important to you and can appreciate that it's not the same for everyone.  

Let's have FUN!  I am extremely easy to work with and strive for low stress, no confusion and AWESOME photos.  What I enjoy most is capturing playful, unique images that reflect who you are and what makes you unique.  I believe in pictures telling a story and when the session is done, you will have beautifully captured memories to enjoy for years to come.  

I specialize in high school senior photography, as well as family portraiture.

A Few Fun Facts About Me

I'm an easy going gal who loves to have great fun! I enjoy all things outdoors including running, skiing, hiking, camping, gardening, and walking my dog. I am a mama to a really great kid!  He is happy, healthy, kind, smart, athletic, funny, and has a heart of gold. I couldn't be more proud and am blessed beyond measure! I have an 8 year old black lab named Mooki and she has brought an abundance of joy into our family! I am a fraternal twin and am just one minute older than my sister. I am obsessed with fashion and love to shop for the latest and greatest trends. I enjoy traveling and a beautiful beach. Finally, I cherish all of the memories that come from photographs and always have throughout my life. I guess you can say that is what has led me here. I began my photography business in 2010 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is so important to capture a moment in time that you will never have the chance to get back. I hope to be lucky enough to work with you!
